If you’re anything like us, your free time is spent ooh-ing and aah-ing at the latest real estate listings in the area — whether that be brand new construction or historic homes that have just hit the market. We’re taking a look at a few multi-million dollar homes throughout James, Sullivan’s, and Kiawah islands, Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, Folly Beach, and downtown Charleston. These are some of the priciest local listings in each area. |

Let’s just say I’m starting to do these stretches regularly. | Photo by the 6AM City team |
Bethany here — part of the CHStoday content team. 👋 If you’re anything like me, it's easy to get so wrapped up in your work that you forget to be conscious of the correct body posture for typing (or Zoom-ing) on a computer all day. That repetitive action — whether it’s improper form or poor ergonomics at your workstation — can lead to muscle tension building up in your back and neck.
So you can imagine my excitement when I found out Roper St. Francis Sports Medicine Clinical Manager Kyle Prothro, ATC, SCAT, had tension-relieving stretches I could do right at my desk. Read on to discover how you can do these stretches yourself (and don’t be surprised if a “stretch break” becomes a normal part of your day). 🙆 What we tried:
Six stretches focused on alleviating back + neck tension — whether working from home or back in the office, these stretches can be done wherever you are. Click below to see me show you how to do the six stretches (and find out which stretch is my favorite).* |
