Hello Thursday.
March 28 2024
A new eatery is headed downtown. Miami-based restaurant Le Chick has purchased the property + lot at 438 King St. for ~$6 million. ROA LLC sold the mixed-use space, which is 3 stories high and totals 9,000 sqft.
Le Chick is located in Wynwood, Miami. The restaurant serves comfort food inspired by Dutch eatery Rotisserie Amsterdam, which is famous for its juicy chicken dishes + double patty burgers.
The Miami dining spot serves rotisserie chicken with fingerling roasted potatoes, spicy mayo, and chimichurri, along with shareables like street corn with truffle aioli, cotija cheese, togarashi, and cilantro.
Local real estate firm Charleston Commercial brokered the million-dollar deal. The firm leased 3 other retail spaces on King Street this summer:
- 550 King. St. β OddFellows Ice Cream Co., opening this fall
- 564 King St. β The Drip Lounge, a medical spa offering IV vitamin therapy
- 328 King St. β Brandy Melville, formerly occupied by Jos. A. Bank
In the last several years, the firm has participated in 19 property acquisition deals on the peninsula totaling over $74 million.
The new Le Chick location is slated to open at the end of next year.
