Charleston Museum — Explore the "Lawn Party" exhibit now-Sept. 19 showcasing vintage fashions and the Lowcountry History Hall displaying the storied past of Native Americans, colonists, and enslaved Black Americans.
Arts Terrace Theater - Catch a movie at the local theater. This weekend's flicks include "Black Widow," "Mamma Mia!" and "Roadrunner: A Film about Anthony Bourdain.” 34 West Theatre Co. - Watch a performance of "Stayin' Alive" — a comedy musical — now-Sept. 11. Gibbes Museum of Art - "Light Effects: The French Impressionists" art exhibition is showing Sept. 3, 2021-Feb. 20, 2022, featuring works from private collections.

- Bourne Group — a marine signage company from the Netherlands — is expanding operations in Charleston County with a $3.7 million investment.
