Primary runoff for Berkeley Council held June 28, early voting starts Wednesday

A primary runoff for Berkeley County Council District 6 is scheduled for June 28.

Marshall West, who walked away with 48% of the vote in Tuesday's Republican primary, will go up against Robert Jeffcoat, who got 37% of the vote.

Early voting will be held from June 22-24 between 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Early in-person votes can be cast at the following locations:

  • Berkeley County Voter Registration & Elections Office: 1003 N. Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461
  • Hanahan Library: 1216 Old Murray Court, Hanahan, SC 29410
  • St. Stephen Library: 113 Ravenell Drive, St. Stephen, SC 29479

Polls will be open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. on June 28.
