Queso cheese dip is a party snack loved by many. In fact, one Charleston County resident wants to have a nice float in it.

On Wednesday, Charleston County Parks & Recreation Commission (CCPRC) received an email from someone asking to turn the lazy river at Whirlin' Waters into "a queso cheese lazy river."

The emailer explained that he got the idea after seeing an ad at Moe's Southwest Grill.

He suggested "we could all just float in the river with a bag of chips and a long twisty straw and have the time of our lives with that sweet sweet queso."

Later in the day, CCPRC responded to the inquiry, seemingly being receptive of the idea, but explaining some logistical challenges it would face.

Officials noted the lack of nacho chips large enough to accommodate visitors, the challenge of getting cheese-cloth to fit into drains and filters, and there not being twisty straws in bulk that are thick enough to suck up the queso.

However, the respondent noted that they would pass along the suggestion to higher-ups within CCPRC.
